[title]What kind of beauty stops you in your tracks?[/title]

[answer]Flowers literally stop me in my tracks, because I never cease to be amazed by their uniqueness and sublime purpose. Flowers are by far the focus of the majority of my photographs.

[/answer]

[title]What’s your favorite way to reconnect when you’re feeling off track?[/title]

[answer]Time in nature. I have deep connections to nature, and ever since I was a child I have found it to be a powerful medicine. Whether I'm hiking on a warm, beautiful sunny day, or freezing my butt off in the wintertime, it's exactly the medicine I need.

[/answer]

[title]If you could gift every client one feeling to take with them after a session, what would it be?[/title]

[answer]Gratitude. Simple gratitude is such an important emotion to help us appreciate and connect with both people and experiences in our lives. When I find myself becoming negative and judgmental, practicing gratitude helps turn things around faster than anything else.

[title]One thing you have learned, or unlearned, on your own healing path?[/title]

[answer]I discovered the hidden operating system that was running my life. For years, I lived in patterns of striving for perfection, people-pleasing, and performing at an unsustainable pace. Perfection often kept me from even starting—because I never felt “ready.” People-pleasing and playing the hero gave me a false sense of being needed, but it wasn’t the authentic connection I truly craved. I realized I want to be met, not needed. And the constant push to achieve left little room to listen, slow down, and simply be. My greatest unlearning has been this: I am enough—not because of what I accomplish, but because of who I am.[/answer]

[title]What's your favorite way to reconnect when you're feeling off track?[/title]

[answer]I go to nature—and I stay as long as it takes. I unplug completely, sleep on the earth, under the stars, eat whole, simple food, and let myself settle into the slow rhythm of the natural world. There’s something magical about losing track of time and remembering that I belong, both to the earth and to myself. I don’t leave until I feel awe again—the kind that makes life feel like a miracle.[/answer]

[title]If you could gift every client one feeling to take with them after a session, what would it be?[/title]

[answer]Alignment. That deep sense of being connected to your own heart’s truth—where “yes” and “no” become crystal clear. I want clients to leave feeling that their choices and actions flow from a place of inner integrity, and that they are motivated by alignment rather than pressure. That feeling is magnetic—it changes everything.[/answer]

[title]What is something that you loved as a kid that still brings you joy?[/title]

[answer]Animals. I am enchanted. And I am about as dog-crazy as they come. Please let me pet your dog[/answer]

[title]One thing you have learned, or unlearned, on your own healing path?[/title]

[answer]That you will never hate yourself into a better version of yourself. If that worked, it would have worked already. The annoying but true answer to every struggle is always curiosity and compassion.[/answer]

[position]Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator[/position]

[content]Mary Beth a nurse practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience in family practice, women’s health, and college health. Over the years, she has had the privilege of walking alongside people through many of life’s transitions—menopause, becoming an empty nester, retirement, serious health challenges—and she has seen how deeply these moments can affect us, mind, body, and spirit.

Along the way, Mary Beth has found that traditional medical approaches to mental and emotional health often fall short. That realization led her to explore natural medicine and, eventually, to become a trained psychedelic facilitator in 2022.

Now, she offers a safe, supportive space for people who are curious about using psychedelic work for healing, growth, or deeper self-understanding. Whether you're navigating a tough life chapter or simply feeling called to explore what’s next, Mary Beth is here to hold space for your journey with care and compassion.[/content]

[title]On a Colorado day (winter/summer), you will likely find me… [/title]

[answer]
Outside. If I can’t be in the mountains or Moab then I will be outside in my yard. I am usually mountain biking in the summer or nordic skiing in the winter. I’m on the trail to just enjoy myself and keep in motion. This is where I work out my tension, anxiety or stress. A good technical trail that forces me into the moment because I have to ride my line (or crash), clears my head and will reset any physical tension I’m holding. The endorphin hit is wonderful. But sometimes getting away isn’t in the cards, so I hang out in the backyard with the garden, survey if anything is ready to harvest and watch those brazen little hummingbirds fight it out at the feeder. I find a hammock is best for these days!

One thing that I have learned on my healing path…

is that I am never quite done. As much as I want to move through something and then check it off as completed, it just isn’t realistic. So, I know I will never totally arrive, but I have learned that I am more aware of what is happening inside myself and awareness helps me identify negative thought patterns, critical self talk or times when there is no space between a stimulus and my response. And it is with this awareness that I find movement towards healing and relief from the patterns of my past that were no longer helping me. I used to suppress tears because I thought once they got started they would never stop, or they were a sign of weakness, but I have learned this isn’t true. Working with psychedelics in a therapeutic setting will lead you to where you need to go for the things you are searching for. Your body already knows what it needs for healing. If we work together - that is what you will discover. As you travel any path that opens up from natural medicine I will help you hold that space and keep you safe.
[/answer]
